About Rasheed Ogunlaru
Born and based in London, Rasheed was drawn to writing stories and poetry as a child.
He also had a love for music; listening to the radio for hours on end and memorising lyrics to countless hit songs by his early teens. At 18 he began his professional life in media & PR. He went on to pursue his passion for singing ten years later – a virtual veteran in pop music terms.
On meeting many singers and performers who struggled with life balance, career and confidence he retrained as a life & business coach to help them take care of their lives and career.
It is as a leading life coach, motivational speaker and business / corporate coach that he is best known with clients that span singers, presenters, entrepreneurs and organisations. As a motivational speaker he is popular across business, corporate, spiritual and personal development circuits alike. He also author of a series of books, videos and downloads including the internationally acclaimed book Soul Trader – Putting the Heart Back into Your Business.
Music remains dear to Rasheed’s heart and today he continues to record for his own pleasure and the joy of song. The close relationship between his work and his music can be heard in his recordings… and to an extent it can be sensed in his talks and spoken word recordings as a coach/ speaker. After a bit of a break in recording Rasheed released his debut full album Songs from the Soul in 2012 and followed it up a few years later with the Spring 2016 release of Lease of Life.
The magical thing about music – and movies – is that every now they can be transformational. They touch you and after listening or watching you’re somehow no longer quite the same as you were before.
